“ Mindfulness” is the practice of being aware in the present moment, a space of noticing the state of things (internal or external) without judgment. It can be said to be a type of meditation, or a way to integrate meditation in daily life activities.
From a young age, I’ve loved any kind of arts and crafts. If there is something I can design, paint or make, I’m in a happy place!
Making my products, drawing my illustrations for my books or writing my stories is something I do when I’m feeling anxious and overwhelmed.
I combine being creative with being in the present moment to incorporate mindfulness in my crafting.

Mindfulness and regular meditation has been the key to controlling my thoughts and emotions which led me to complete my Diplomas. From a young age, I've always loved drawing, painting and crafts. When I'm feeling anxious and overwhelmed, being creative allows me to feel safe and reduces the rush of anxiety I feel in certain situations.
I now want to share this to help others.

The stories not only introduce mindfulness techniques, they also cover topics included in Key stage 1 and 2 in primary schools, such as friendships and relationships.
I also do my own illustrations for my books, which is my go to when I myself feel anxious. I find any crafting or drawing super relaxing!
